Exit
The SINUMERIK 840C control must not be simply switched off but "powered
down", in order to assure the integrity of the files on the hard disk and avoid
loss of data.
The control can be powered down by pressing the "Exit" key in the Area
Switchover menu.

The power supply must not be switched off until the exit command has been
confirmed by pressing the "Yes" button in the SYSTEM DOWN dialog box.

information.
